Can I use StepWatch™ files in other programs?

Although StepWatch™ data is saved in a proprietary format (swb), the data can be exported into tab-delimited format for use in other programs, such as Microsoft Excel.

To do so, use the "Export Data..." function in the file menu to export the data. It will end up as a file with the .xls extension, although it is technically a tab-delimited file.
